On one weekend in advent Val Martello hosts a special Christmas market: the highest one in the Alps!
Cross country skiing and biathlon
The Martello ski centre at 1,700 m excites cross country skiers and biathletes with 12 km of cross country ski tracks and a modern shooting range. Directly next to the ski centre a magic carpet offers winter fun for children: here it’s all about tobogganing and perfecting your ski turns.
Hikes on touring skis and snowshoes
Discover unspoilt nature and snow-covered corners on snowshoes or touring skis. Val Martello and Stelvio national park offer interesting adventures.
Ortler Skiarena
There are two skiing regions with guaranteed snow near Val Martello: Solda and Senales. The Ortles ski pass offers you access to 15 skiing regions in South Tyrol.

On Malga Genziana at 2,061 m you find the highest Christmas market in the Alps. In a tranquil atmosphere South Tyrolean delicacies, traditional crafts and farm products are offered.
